ROTTERDAM, Netherlands (August 11, 2026) – Kemin Biologics, the vaccine business unit of Kemin Industries, a global ingredient manufacturer that strives to sustainably transform the quality of life every day for 80 percent of the world with its products and services by 2042, recently hosted the 2026 Respiratory Integrity Forum, a scientific exchange focused on one of the poultry industry’s most pressing challenges: emerging Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV) Genotype VII.

Kemin Biologics held the third session of the event—moderated by Poultry World—in Rotterdam, Netherlands, on June 9, and highlighted how collaboration, applied science, and practical field experience can help support stronger respiratory health strategies for producers worldwide.

Kemin Biologics presented its NDV homologous vaccine solutions designed to support early protection against respiratory and enteric challenges associated with NDV Genotype VII. The NDV homologous vaccine solutions feature:

• Genotype-matched protection against circulating NDV Genotype VII strains
• Significant reduction in viral shedding to help limit transmission
• A flexible vaccine range combining live and inactivated solutions for more comprehensive immunity over time

The forum also featured respected voices in poultry health, including Professor Kannan Ganapathy of the University of Liverpool and Dr. Abdallah Makahleh, Global Technical Services Manager, Kemin Biologics. The speakers’ perspectives reinforced the value of combining academic expertise with real-world field insight to address evolving disease threats and improve vaccination decision-making across poultry industry segments.

The third session of the Respiratory Integrity Forum demonstrated Kemin Biologics’ continued commitment to advancing poultry health through innovation, partnership, and vaccination best practices.
