DES MOINES, Iowa (July 26, 2022) – Kemin Industries, a global ingredient manufacturer that strives to sustainably transform the quality of life every day for 80 percent of the world with its products and services, recently named Gordon MacQuirter the Sales Manager – Southeast Region for Kemin Crop Technologies, an initiative of Kemin Industries dedicated to providing crop protection and crop health solutions for U.S. commercial specialty crop growers.
MacQuirter will be responsible for direct sales of Kemin Crop Technologies products to fruit and vegetable growers and greenhouses across the Southeastern U.S., including Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina. In his new role, MacQuirter will establish and grow strong relationships with local distributors, integrated pest management (IPM) managers, plant health specialists, pest control advisers and business owners to share Kemin product knowledge and promote cost-effective, solution-based IPM programs.

Prior to joining Kemin Crop Technologies, MacQuirter was a sales representative for farming equipment at Ag-Pro Companies, LLC.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Kemin and the Crop Technologies team, and I look forward to building my network and offering Kemin’s biological solutions to farmers and producers in the Southeast,” said MacQuirter. “Pest and disease outbreaks can happen anytime, but as part of the Kemin Crop Technologies team, my goal is to ensure growers have the right solutions to keep their operations profitable.”
MacQuirter received his bachelor’s degree in diversified agriculture from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia, U.S.
In his spare time, MacQuirter helps his grandfather on the small pecan farm in Thomasville, Georgia, where he was raised. He also enjoys spending time with his family at Lake Blackshear outside Cordele, Georgia, and inshore fishing on the Gulf Coast of Florida, near Keaton Beach and Punta Gorda.
